What is this total world war? Drag a passenger not destined to even step
foot in this country off a plane, send him to a regime that we criticize
every day for their brutality, have him tortured and now justify it as
collateral? When did collateral mean the same as brutal and sadistic?

'Collateral damage'  is used quite a bit as justification for accidental and
not so accidental  killing and maiming of civilians. Yet another
misinformation word  favored  by those that have chosen to engage in war.
