Matthew, at 04:18 on Jun 23 1996, you wrote to Bill Grimsley ... LB>> To forge a message and make all the see-by and path lines LB>> identical would be difficult to achieve. MP>> Not really. Just get a copy of another message from my MP>> system to his, and pull off all the appropriate lines. No MP>> problems. BG>> Whether it's possible or not is totally irrelevant, even if BG>> you're too thick to realise it. The truth is that you BG>> specifically stated that it was YOUR design, when, in fact, BG>> it was somebody else's intellectual property. And that, my BG>> lying little friend, is called plagiarism. MP> I never, ever, stated that it was my own design, arsehole. MP> Had you been slightly more perceptive, you might have noticed MP> that the portion you quoted was not indented, while the MP> portion I wrote (instead of the portion that you quoted, MP> which was part of the file I posted) was indented a single MP> line. This may come a surprise to you Matthew, but some message editors reformat text to suit the recipient's screen dimensions(132x40). If the line of text doesn't have the quote characters at the start, it is formatted exactly as all other lines of text without quote characters. There was no noticable "indent" difference on my screen between the opening lines (which I now know you definitely DID write), and the "my own design" line (which you claim was a quote). Instead of abusing people, why not tell them politely that it was copy typed from a magazine article (or better yet, include that explanation in the original message, you've seen those snip-snip comments?)
