Hey Maurice!

 MK> See above for type 1 uuid

Same here except using util-linux's 'uuidgen -t', where -t triggers a type 1 time uuid.  The other half of the problem is taken care of by uuidparse somewhat as follows (with your uuid);

  :read !uuidparse -n -o TIME 0ca9a082-26ef-11ec-a553-91e6ae23740d
2021-10-06 21:47:49,312525+00:00

Note the microseconds in the rfc-3339 output. nanoseconds would be better but microseconds still will provide uniqueness ... for now. :::evil grin:::

Life is good,
Maurice
