Subject: Reply to Richard Webb: Change isn't Bad
Richard, I sure agree with you on this and I feel that we should start the
General Sessions at 8:00am sharp. I don't understand why that hour has to
be set asside for devotions. I feel that since each day we have a
different prayer from each denomination, this should be sufficient and if
there must be an hour for devotions, it should be moved to 7:00a.m. since
most people are up at that time anyway. Ah, but then there is the exhibit
hall, and I too want to be able to see it all, well, that can be open from
noon until 2:00p.m. and in the evenings. I know some will find fault with
this, but the present general session does not allow time for questions and
comments - discussions. I have never been to a general session where I was
cut so short at the mike.
