It does come with a driver, but I ran the win98 install CD and it recognized it without the driver. I'll have to try the ECS 1.1 install and see if it does too. The PCI card seems to be recognized as SCSI with Promise technology. The instructions with this card says it will not work with IDE ATAPI devices such as CD/DVD.
