I have no adventures that were patriotic. My adventures were of
my own choosing and a bit foolish. I did, however, take the
time to jot down short versions of them and post them on
webpages for my children and grandchildren to read. 

The pictures of my grandfather bring back memories but I do
wish he had written a short synopsis of how he decided to live
in this country and what his life was 'about' rather than hear
other people's theories. I knew my grandfather well enough, he
lived with us and passed away when I was 12 but at 12 you don't
ask the right questions that you would at say 30? 

You should jot down your stories so that future generations of
Parrots can know their (great)grandfather from all
perspectives, not just pictures of an older man. ;-)
