John, your thinking comprises numerous overarching analogies
and bad metaphors. You use language badly and it causes you
to think your thinking is logical when in actuality it is
mostly nonsense. As I've done with Felsenstein and Moran's
thinking, I force you to reveal your assumptions and maintain
the same definitions at the end of your argument that you
introduced at the beginning of your argument. The result is
always the same: your thinking is revealed as little more
than a misguided attempt to force observed reality to conform
with your theory-based simplifications. As scientists we are
supposed to adjust theory to match reality, not the other way
around. Inevitably, discussions with you evolve into shouting
and hand-waving on your part based on new scientific principles
that you, obviously, just pulled out of your ass.
