I've made tons of progress. The trick is to use a terminal that supports
TN3270E, not a TN3270 Terminal. These term programs have a field for the
LTerm or LU name in them. I beat my brains out trying to figure out why I
couldn't get Explicit LU's to work until I figured out the problem was the
terminal.
Now we are having problems with the IMS session locking up on us.
Sometimes it works sometimes not. I think the install of Comm Server is
screwy and am going to try an install from an updated code server.
Printing is a major concern too. Special print jobs require special
printers/forms. We hope to move over to Ethernet laser printers with forms
templates in them. I gotta solve Comm Server first though. We're very close
at this point. By the way, a real manual with Comm Server would have helped
immensly. That crappy "feature list" pamplet they give you stinks.
