Actually, I've been around all along reading all your posts. However, I 
just haven't had anything to add. I hadn't touched my guitars or bass 
for quite some time. Just lost the desire to play. A couple of weeks ago 
I picked up a couple of guitar books including and Albert Lee complete 
with CD and started back at it, more or less. Now there's no way in hell 
I'll ever get that Lee stuff down but I've been having fun trying it 
out. The other book was on Rockabilly stuff and that's been fun too. 
Also dug up some of my old finger picking bokks and have been wroking on 
them. The urge is back! Hope it sticks around for a while this time. 
Might even start plucking at that bass.
A long time back I mentioned here that I had an old Bassman head that 
had major problems. When you plug it in and turn it on the power tube 
plates turn cherry red and the fuse blows. This happens rather quickly. 
Some of you guys replied with possible solutions and I stored them in a 
file. However, a while back I totally destroyed my 2.1G hard drive and 
all the files that were on it. No, there was no backup. If anybody can 
give me some suggestions as to what to look for I'd like to get this 
animal going. What say you?
