Ok. This is the REAL Story;
I was *fired*, rather *terminated* because I am moral, and Sheriff
McFaul kept a -dirty and extremely unsanitary- jail (still does from
what I've been informed by people I know still employed there), and at
the time I *was* a state registered EMT and happened to bring up how
many R.C. Codes they were violating by the conditions of the jail,
which Zelda Turker "Ohio Commissioner of jails" had reported in a
Fall 1988 article by the Cleveland Plain Dealer, showed as factual
(obtained on Micro-Fiche, also Public record), but, dear Sheriff
McFaul, denied.
The Ambulance they had wasn't up to spec per R.C. Regs, and only one
other C.O. and One Deputy I knew were trained EMT's for 1168 Inmates in
a facility built for 970, That combined with the fact I Suffered a back
injury in training and threatened to file a claim with B.W.C. while
still in my probationary period, got some people very pissed off.
And, even though I still have the prescription bottle written by a
"Dr Gerome Williams, Employed by Metro-Hospital" on staff with the
Jail (no longer there), for 600mg of Motrin, I was subsequently denied
medical treatment (after 5 years in litigation and 3 attorney's) of any
kind... which is all I was seeking (also public record).
And there is no report as required by the R.C. in my personnel file
"kept at the Sheriff's Office" to explain why I was written such a
prescription, if no injury occurred, yet the B.W.C., found no cause.
Now I did track down Dr Williams in 1995 (something I requested all the
attorney's involved to do), (he did not recall who I was, which isn't
unusual) and I asked him what the procedure was for an Employee
reporting to the Medical Center at the Jail, and he stated "he was to
submit an incident report which would go into my personnel file".
Such a report doesn't exist in that file.
So you figure it out Blake.
