Hi Jean,
This is the second time you have given me good advice. Some time ago you
gave me an in depth research report of GPS systems and we are really
happy with what we bought. I was surprised at the time to hear from
some one with so many boats! Now we are headed down the same path as
you, a sail boat and a smudge pot! Just don't know when we will use
them.
I will definitely do the lexan thing. Sounds like a reasonably
priced fix. However, I would like to find the trim rings for it (if I
can) We have all winter so it is not yet critical yet!
Here in the Northwest there is just so much water, that it would be
crazy not to use it. A great area to live. We also sea kayak. Ever
tried that? Lots of fun and no maintenance!
While I have your attention, I have another problem. The motor on the
sailboat is a 9.8 Merc long shaft. Old as the boat and has poor
circulation. Is there anything that we can run through the motor that
will help clean it out?
Thanks again for the advice.
Barry
