G'day Bob,

Replying to a message of Bob Lawrence to Jeff Green on 21/05/97:

JG>> From my Watergate manual. It's a good explanation

BL> It's an *excellent* explanation! I nearly wet myself when I found
BL> it. I nearly sent off the $30 at once. For one sublime moment, I
BL> thought they were going to describe the file format in the same
 BL> simple language, but alas...

One of the reasons I registered it was the fact that the manual was good.
I've looked at various gatways over the years, mostly OS/2 software and
still went with a DOS based system.

However, they will be releasing an OS/2 version on the next beta release!

JG>> Bob, try and look for a package with waffle in it's name. This
JG>> might do everything instead of just getting the mail as

BL> I've looked for waffle, but there's *nothing* on the spcug. The
BL> decompression is no longer a worry... it's written. Delphi makes it
BL> very easy. Now I have ot decode the mail into messages and headers,
BL> and write a a simple editor (unless keith has finished his and is
BL> willing to donate it) and get on with the answering-mail part.

Bummer!

Do you want me to ask for filenames for waffle in one of the uucp
newsgroups I get from Dialix? This echo BTW is there so that people can ask
questions about setting up an running uucp systems :-)

Regards...Jeff (jeff{at}matra.com.au)
