I hope you have a broadcast licence..... ;-))  Actually, I must admit
the JBL's in our lounge look a little bit big for the room, but then
both of us enjoy our music, so, what the hell. ;-)

Actually I think it may need a new playback head soon, it doesn't look
to bad, but it seems to suffer from slight fading/dropout from time to
time. I thought for awhile that it may have been the ten-year old tape
starting to fail, but then some of it has never been used.

Spec. variations from machine to machine can be enough to make an
audible difference. Just my opinion though.
