Hello everyone. This is just a short update to try to keep this echo alive.

It's been about a week now since I moved my four-foot aquarium to my bedroom
and set it up. Things are progressing nicely. The water is now clear, and I am
still waiting for the tank to age a bit, and for some beneficial bacteria to
start colonizing the substrate, rocks and filters, before I introduce some
livestock. I am, of course, in no hurry to do this; after all, the aquarium
has been down for several years, and a few more days or weeks won't make much
of a difference. I'll just appreciate it more when I finally have some fish in
there.

In the mean time, if anyone else is still visiting this echo, it would
certainly be nice to hear from you. There are too many inactive echoes these
days, and it is rather disappointing.
