Correct on both counts. The MAC uses a "non-standard" serial interface and
you therefore need a cable with the proper DIN connector. Also, I believe
you have to configure the DIP switches on the modem differently for the MAC
to accommodate its different method of handshaking.
Other than that, the modem doesn't care if it's connected to a PC, a MAC, or
a dumb terminal. :-)
