If you concur, i will post a check to you today. How should I make out 
the check, to you or to Finnegan Software? Is that your mailing address 
at the bottom of your messages?

I do not think I am ready for XP. Maybe when WIN2K is no longer 
supported. I use Windows for a Minolta slide scanner, my Alps printers 
(to make decals), some graphics software that doesn't run in eCS, and 
for those few Internet sites that won't run in eCS Firefox. I expect 
with my new CPU I will see a speed improvement even without running in 
64 bit mode.

Another topic: I am thinking of replacing my refurbished APC ups, which 
needs a new battery, with another APC unit, either through trade in or 
refurbished. Do you know if it is possible to connect the unit to 
monitoring software that runs in eCS? Right now I do not have the ups 
connected to the computer. Can you offer any advice on standby power 
supplies?
