i don't know how "owns" the rights of the series.. 

the major cast members have all shown interest in returning for a 5th
season.. and terry nation does have a basic plot/scripts etc for a 5th
season which he was trying to get a US film company to take up..

the BBC which produced the 1st 4 seasons.. have no plans to bring it back
