Askey Australia/Dynalink Modems announces the release of the eagerly awaited

successor to the V.34 (28,800 bps) protocol. The Dynalink Fastcard+ 33,600 bps

V.34+ modem is the new flagship model in the Dynalink range, offering the

benefits of 33,600 bps transfer rates at or below the price of basic 28,800

modems. 

The Fastcard + utilises the AT Command set with the Texas Instruments chipset,

and incorporates all of the industry standard protocols (V.34+, V.34, V.Fast,

V.32bis, V.32, V.23 V.22bis, V.22, and V.21) with speeds ranging from 33,600

bps right down to 300 bps including 28,800, 14,400, and 9600 (with 16

increments in all) . On the Fax side it communicates with all ITU-T Group 3

FAX machines and is compatible with ITU-T V.27ter and V.29, V.17, T.4 and

T.30. Switching between Data and Fax mode operation is done at the firmware

level, eliminating the need for hardware settings. 

The Fastcard + ships with a Flash upgradeable ROM and is fully Plug and Play

compliant. It is US Robotics Sportster* compatible and is supported directly

through Windows 95*. The software bundle includes Delrina Fax and

Communications software for both DOS and Windows, as well as and Internet 

and a Compuserve trial offers along with the appropriate disks.
