	Could it be my compiler? Its gcc 2.95.3
	I have notices several other programs had similar problems.
Not sure how I can downgrade it to 2.7.2. and I am unsure if I can
upgrade it either.
	Not sure if squish compiles or not. but with out the bbs. its
just useless.
	I have found with other compiles that my Slackware 3.9 box
compiles BETTER with 2.7.2 than this version Perhaps I will move the
cvs downloads to my slackware 3.9 system and let it have a crack at
it.

P.S the original max-3.03b.tar.gz linux public distro compiled fine. 
but the cvs version is a disaster.
