...let us not forget that creating robots for the almighty capitalist 
is not the only purpose of education.ÿ Maintaining habitability of 
the planet for the species is also a legitimate concern.  A whole 
nation was "twisted in it's thinking" by Hitler in the 30's.  Ignorance 
was what allowed the atrocity.  ..."scrambling after the buck" seems 
to take a pretty high priority with you big guy.  Newt G. was doing a 
pretty good job of "taking over by hyping the mob"; what if they were 
to talk about "readying the ovens" -- would you have it that there 
were no independant free thinking individuals to stand up and oppose?
 
...pretty far fetched possibilities?  ...not at all.  Electing Bob 
Dole wins the American public the crew that produced the Republican 
Party National Headquarters' "Christmas Party" tape.  They weren't 
too respectful about depicting how they go after their "Jew Boy" 
contributors -- neither about how they were going to chase the vote 
of the "Home Boy".  ...nor employees of the monied elite in general.
Ollie North's comments using this very medium acknowleged that he 
was aware that some CIA ops were funded w/ inner city drug money.
I'd prefer a world that has individuals capable of interpreting 
information accurately for signs of danger.  Capiatalist greed 
and deliberate subversive tactics were what caused the epidemic 
of addiction in China -- plain and simple.  You guys will stop at 
NOTHING when you want to destroy a populace.  I'd rather that at 
least inner city minorities were able to "see it coming" and be able 
to accurately interpret the dangers and act intelligently to defend 
themselves rather than "walk on off into the ovens" under Republican 
treachery, thank you.  ...but, yes, I'd like to see them highly 
skilled as a workforce too -- but why stop there?  Do you see them as 
somehow undeserving of leadership, administrative & entrepÿûÿûÿûrenurial 
rolls?  Given the European pogroms of the 30's and 40's I find it 
hard to believe you'd want to enforce deadly ignorance when world 
history (and ours) has underscored the very real dangers clearly.

but I must say I'm puzzled at the inordinate esteem you accord to 
Republicans here.  ...It just simply doesn't make sense.
