May I make a suggestion here. I don't know what your schedule is, or the 
amount of time that you will be able to spend with you bird. What works for 
me 
is to get them adjusted to a schedule that is not totally dependant on them 
having time with me.
These little critters do get terrible dependant on us and get very upset when 
we let them down.
