I attempted to blank one that had been written with another CD-Writer
program under Windy. I have never had success blanking a CD-RW with
RSJ that had been written in different burning software. Doesn't
matter whick RW drive I've tried. Of course, I haven't really dug
into the why, either.

Now, I can't try it since my second Asus (Asuck) A7V880 motherboard
welded the power supply's (SilentMaxx liquid cooled - I got it in July
05) ATX connector to its ATX connector. That explains the hot plastic
smell and the monitor going blank like it no longer was being driven.
(I'm typing this on my back-up computer.) I've had this happen with
my first Asus (Asuck) A7V880 with a different power supply (Enermax -
it was about 4 years old). Same red wires being welded to the
motherboard's ATX connector. Only the graphics adapter, RAM, CPU,
hard drive, DVD-RW drive, floppy drive and coolant pump were identical
between the two motherboards. At least Asuck replaced the ATX
connector on the 1st A7V880. Now I have to figure out how to unjoin
the two ATX connectors on my second Asuck A7V880. I think the
SilentMaxx is undamaged electronically. I'm half tempted to buy a new
connector and just snip the wires off at the motherboard. My next
motherboard will NOT be an Asus. I wonder what is causing this?
