I'm hoping that someone can help me out with a bit of a problem.  I've sent 
email to supratech@supra.com on this, but so far haven't heard from them...
I have a V34 SupraFAXModem 288 (external) that I use to run my BBS.
I just upgraded the Flash ROM from V1.200-02-V34_DS to V1.440-12-V34_DS
(using the 1.3 flash to get there, as the software told me that it wasn't
possible to flash from the 1.200 to 1.440).
Even though I did receive a message telling me that the upgrade was
successful, I'm experiencing several problems that have rendered my modem
useless...
   The modem will not recognize a BUSY.
   More often than not it also will NOT recognize a RING.
   (I don't even get a RI on the LED)
   Often (especially after a power cycle) I cannot get a TR indicator.
   Usually leaving the unit off for SEVERAL minutes will fix that one.
   When making calls, the modem seems to CONNECT just fine, but after that
   nothing further happens until it times out, and drops carrier.
   It doesn't always "completely" drop carrier.  The attempt is made, but
   sometimes it will sit there offhook for several minutes.
   The LED almost ALWAYS "flickers" slightly. (Not that THAT is a "problem"
   but is is something I noticed, and I'm including it in case it might mean
   something more important than a minor annoyance.
