I certainly understand and appreciate what you went through with Ivy, or with
any new birds you've brought home in the past. So I can understand why you
would consider holding back one of the babies.
Cathy Toft (remember her?) has done a LOT of research on genetics,
hybridization, etc. and has had a number of papers published. I think she
would be a wonderful source for information on this subject. She still logs
onto BIN occasionally.....
