	Not much of difference in that area. I also am using the
latest autoconf and automake system from gnu. my make program is:
Autocomf version:
autoconf (GNU Autoconf) 2.57
automake (GNU automake) 1.7.3
GNU Make version 3.79.1

Well, the main system is running Slackware 8.0 and yes, I did compile
gcc-2.7.2.3 for slackware 8.0 too, I just never installed it yet.
