Hi Joan!
-=> Quoting Joan Kelly to Wendy Buchanan <=-
WB> wallpaper samples and see what I can come up with, or take a bleach
WB> bottle or 2-liter pop bottle and make something out
JK> I'm not much on making things from milk bottles, etc.--not enough
JK> imagination--and I envy people who see the utility in everyday things.
JK> I have to buy patterns. :(
I have several scrapcraft books I've gotten at garage sales
and from when I worked with the Park District in Peoria, IL.
The lady there was a whiz and she taught me a lot of stuff!
JK> Eileen (my sister). She liked to sew and everything at one time, and
JK> made several suits for herself. Nowadays, she does some crocheting,
JK> but not very often. When she appeared interested in the Mile-A-Minute
JK> afghans, I *bought* her the leaflet! :-) Don't think she's done
That's too bad but you never know when she may come across
that leaflet and be bitten by "the bug."
WB> mean about your sister. Good thing she apologized, if
WB> what she said was so awful it could have split up your whole
WB> family!
JK> Everything is back to what passes for normal around here, thank
JK> goodness. :)
Thanks for the huggies, and see tagline below for definition!
LadyBear Hugs,
Wendy
