What about the version that was on the LET IT BE album, however? That was overdubbed more than a year later, and judging from the very different sound of George's guitar, he was probably not just playing in a different style, but using different equipment altogether. By the time that George overdubbed his parts for the album version of "Let It Be," hadn't he already given way the rosewood Telecaster to Delaney Bramlett? If it's not the rosewood Tele on the album version of "Let It Be," what guitar was it? The likely suspects: 1. The red "Lucy" Les Paul 2. The psychedelic "Rocky" Fender Stratocaster 3. The Epiphone Casino last seen played by George in the "Hello,Goodbye" video in 1967. It was likely one of these three guitars (if it wasn't the Tele, that is). I think it might have been Rocky. -- All follow-ups are directed to the newsgroup rec.music.beatles.moderated.
