It's the wrong war. The war where the USA attempted to invade Canada was
the War of 1812 and the chief who pushed back the invasion was Tecumseh.
(BTW, Canadians retaliated and burned the White House to the ground.)

Chief Pontiac was involved in the French-Indian Wars of 1734 which
faught with the French to push back the English forces around Detroit.
