Hi Darrell,
DJ>Anyone have any idea why olx is giving me fits in OS/2?
The mouse support in OLX [and its predecessor SLMR] is implemented by polling
the mouse port. This means the program basically loops looking for something
to
do, rather than give back the CPU to the dispatcher and wait for an event to
occur.
OS/2 has the capability to detect this. Ensure your idle sensitivity and idle
time values are set to reasonable values in the VDM settings. The defaults
re
good starting points.
My personal solution was to ditch OLX and use a multi-threaded OS/2 mail
reader,
such as KWQ/2 or MR/2. [I've registered both.]

Dave
