In the media library look at the column labeled Media Info. I don't =
know what the exact values. Mine are all Found, Not Found, or Pending. =
My guess is that the ones that changed are identified as Found. Again, =
the settings to which I referred you earlier should control this. =
Opening the files still has nothing to do with it nor should it.

A followup: Each time I've opened WMP9 to stream audio, it's reached =

and done it's thing to more of my files which I had NOT opened. Not a =
happy camper.
