I saw a tagline that said something like The new motto of today's
Church - "Dare to be adequate!" and it really hit home for me.

Oh, I saw that guy! What is the deal with him?! The only thing I can
figure is that he is an American Baptist. They are mostly found up
in the Great Liberal North, they are for gun control, and it appears
they are for socialism. It angers me because un-informed people might
see him and think ALL Baptists think like that. AAMOF, the American
Baptist membership is tiny compared to the rest. I've attended many
Baptist churches...Southern, Freewill, etc. and they are the exact
opposite. The only ones Mom wouldn't take us to were Northern, (too
"Yankee") and particularly, American. She said they were too "weird"
and it looks like Mom was right *again*. It reminds me of the
Catholic vs. Episcopalians, and the way the Episcopalians are
*almost* Catholic--except for a few "minor" adjustments like allowing
gay priests, etc. The American Baptists could be the "Episcopalians"
of the Baptist church.

That is *really* sad!

Oooh, I would not want to be in that guy's shoes come Judgement Day!
I'm sure he will be held accountable.
