Was it the weather? Up here in NYS we had a very cold May giving the
newbie plants a bad start, then a tooo hot July wherein they didn't
grow well even with our watering them, and a very WET fungus loving
August. IT's a sad thing. The italian plum tomatoes came up ok but
were not very sweet. Same goes for the green beans. The zukes didn't
grow at all. The brussels sprouts ditto. The peppers ; hot red ones,
did grow well tnough. No peas. The garlic we had planted last october
came up ok but the bulbs are small.
Im not sure wether to attribute this bad turn out to the weather and
or the clayish soil of this area.
... May the tagline be with you...
