We had just finished him the most beautiful blue Telecaster that he
received about a month before he passed away.  It had a killer-flame
maple neck and a ebony fingerboard.
On the fingerboard there was a very ornate inlay with the words "Go Cat,
Go!" on a musical staff.
A friend of ours went to the funeral and that guitar was in the coffin
with him.  We don't know if he was buried with it or not.
I haven't seen him in years, but I understand that Carl just kept
getting better and better on guitar.  I understand he was very good.
