If anyone chooses to argue with this....I am currently working in the
business world. Believe it or not, the system I have to work on is a 386DX8
(turbo'd to 25), a 20 meg hard drive, 2 megs RAM (if that, I think), no
Windoze, no mouse, and 1 disk drive. I manage with WP 5.1, an *old* version
of WordStar, and a couple of other old programs.
To give my office a little bit of credit, they are starting to update the
systems. There are now 3 systems with 486's and Windoze 95. But they're not
for the secretaries (of course not!).
The commentary about DOS and other platforms is honest and definite. Some of
my secretary colleagues have a hard time just copying a disk, as they don't
know DOS.
