 And thus become part of the problem.

 You know even from the beginning of this administration
 though I was certain it would be a disaster I also
 fostered a small hope that there would be a backlash
 to that disaster and some of the sheeple might begin
 to employ some critical thinking for a change.
 I'm beginning to see a little of that going on now, 
 not enough by half but close, maybe it will make a difference?
 
 V.P. Dick Cheney was on the news this morning and the political 
 doublespeak he employed in the interview was stunning.
 Cheney is still certain we'll find weapons of mass destruction,
 maintained Iraq had a nuclear weapons program that could have
 produced a bomb in months to a year, this despite he spoke
 only of parts to a centrafuge and "plans."
 
 The interviewer got a few pointed questions in but quick on his feet
 Cheney managed to reply with impressive sound bytes the meaning
 of which eluded me entirely, it seemed clear to me it
 was simple obfuscation.
 Cheney just kept repeating the same unsubstanciated claims
 and answering with babblespeak when hit with a pointed question
 addressing the facts.
