I'm using SBBS/Linux/DOSEmu, and I was having same problem.

Except to make it work properly under DOSEmu, I had to tell it it was running
DESQView , works great now :)

It helped out over here :)  I didn't even know you could set the multitasker in
RESOURCE.DAT.  Thanks again :)
