M> FWIW, the original score to Albinoni's Adagio may not exist. The
M>piece we know today was arranged by a fellow named, Remo Giazotto.
M>He apparently developed it from a fragment which was discovered in
M>Dresden, Germay after one of the Allied bombings of that city in
M>World War II.
Damn, boss, that's some pretty detailed info. You a music major or
something?
M> There are other sections on that Renaissance album which are
M>obviously borrowed from the classical repertoire. Since you seem to
M>be so well versed in this sort of thing , here's a trivia
M>question for *you*:
M> "Running Hard", one of my faves from _Turn of the Cards_ begins
M>with a lengthy piano introduction which is also taken from a
M>classical piece originally written for the organ. Do you know what
M>it is?
Ain't got a clue, but there's another blatant ripoff on the first album,
though I don't remember (a) which song, or (b) who they ripped off. My
mother played me the real thing once.
