1237ab1b4cd8 tech Hello Wayne - --8<--cut CA>> A friend who attended a Harley driving school mentioned CA>> this to me not long ago. The larger bikes with driveshaft etc. probably have a gyroscopic affect that maintains the bike erect without falling over. The lightweights I am familiar with that would be more in the 'dirt-bike' category would fall over I'm certain of this. I used to fall off mine six times per day (seriously) because I was doing wheelies, doughnuts, and riding offroad most of the time. We still had fields and woods way back then even here near Detroit's northern-most boundary. One reason I do not know what _actually_ damaged my left knee. It could've been a series of injuries with one _final_ mistake? You can probably guess what a ridiculous person I was in my youth and how unbelieveable it is that I am alive walking, talking, and functioning somewhat normally? WC> Blip the throttle on the 1100 and you better hold on for WC> dear life... and they're making them _bigger_ now. High WC> lift cam, oversize jets and a tuned exhast made that bike a WC> 120 H.P. monster, just under one pony/5 LBS w/o rider. Reminds me of the 'Rocket Man' movie. Just watching a human body propelled unprotected at high speed causes me physical pain.
