The larger bikes with driveshaft etc. probably have a
gyroscopic affect that maintains the bike erect without falling
over. The lightweights I am familiar with that would be more in
the 'dirt-bike' category would fall over I'm certain of this.

I used to fall off mine six times per day (seriously) because I
was doing wheelies, doughnuts, and riding offroad most of the
time. We still had fields and woods way back then even here
near Detroit's northern-most boundary. One reason I do not know
what _actually_ damaged my left knee. It could've been a series
of injuries with one _final_ mistake?

You can probably guess what a ridiculous person I was in my
youth and how unbelieveable it is that I am alive walking,
talking, and functioning somewhat normally?

Reminds me of the 'Rocket Man' movie. Just watching a human
body propelled unprotected at high speed causes me physical
pain. Flashbacks from my youth?
