LS>I did some just two hours ago ;-). But in fact, I'm not a professional

LS>on a sort of programm - mostly blues with german lyrics.
Which you'll probably play in public at some point, even if you don't get
paid for it.
LS>Newest is 'Bitte lass mich in deine Kueche, denn hier
LS>draussen geht gleich ein Gewitter los'
"Come on in my Kitchen" in German, eh? Cool.
LS>song (played with thumb and damped??) and a new blues text
LS>motiv based on working far away from home ...
Based on that thought, I should've written Blues songs in the Army, but
(even after seeing Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee when I was 17 or 18) I
still didn't know or hadn't realized what the Blues was. When I brought
reel-to-reel tapes of Johnny Winter's _Johnny Winter_ album and Taj
Mahal's _De Ole Folks at Home_ album home from 'Nam, I only knew that
Winter was playing slide and I liked it, and that the credits on the Taj
case said "National Steel Guitar" in the instruments list.
LS>I'm goin to bed now to read the new CrossCut Records
LS>catalog. 225 pages filled with descriptions of blues cds.
LS>Really blues. They sell only two records of Eric Clapton -
LS>the others are not blues :-)))
I think you've caught the fever..
