OTOH, I just opened up an old genuine IBM desktop to add a second drive (Seagate, of course, now that even their IDE drives have a 5-year warranty) and found that the original drive was a Western Digital. SO here's my guess: it was WD for the cheap machines, Seagate for the servers. OR perhaps WD for IDE, Seagate for SCSI. -=- Alan ------------------------ Yahoo!
