This is just a rumor:
I've heard that the next Trek movie will be the last one featuring TNG crew.
Riker realizes that Picard will die in the command chair and that he will
never command the Enterprise.  He then gets the command of another Sovereign
Class vessel called the Nova.  Then they're going to start a new Trek series
called Star Trek: Nova, which features Captain Riker.  Remember, this is just
a rumor.
