Nope, each CELL is considered to be 2V, float rate is 1.085x, per commercial
specs (sola) which gives 2.17 V/cell or 13.02 VDC for a 12V "battery". A
fast/full charge is applied every 6 months for 24 hours to top off. :)

That's what specific gravity testing is for ... I get my lead acid specs from
the local battery shop (family business, 40+ years) and I use deep cycle marine
batteries (12V lead acid) for local backup.

I'm not looking for perfection, but I'm no dummy either
