Prices recovered in Tokyo, and at the open here.  Panic over, I guess.
But for most of the morning there was a slow downward trend.  Then they
turned on a dime and shortly made moderate gains, holding most of it to
the close.  Volume increased to +17% above average.  That makes it an
"Accumulation Day" by my conservative formula.

It's episodic and not particularly convincing, but we keep seeing
evidence there is some Bullish sentiment among buyers.  The problem is
they just can't keep it up.  If they'd just quit trying, let the market
correct and get it over with, then they'd have an easier time of it.

Well, let's see what they think after we get all the Q4 earnings reports
that have been coming out.
