As have I. However, the newspaper and PC Mag normally slake my thirst.:-)
dr> Lots of those around and help to lighten the mood after

dr> The Last Castrato and have mixed emotions about it. Hard book
dr> to read and IMHO not for everyone. Goes into great detail about
dr> art, architecture and music of Florence, Italy.
Sounds good. Who wrote it?
dr> If one can wade through all of it, the mystery is pretty good,

dr> Not that it wasn't well written, it was, but maybe I read so
dr> many mysteries and have learned to look for obvious clues.
dr> Does come to an exciting climax though.
Is it the mystery or the character development which is important? I think
the second but I've been spoiled by Ed McBain and others.
dr> Well, guess it's only the Mystery conference I've seen your
dr> name. Scusa please. (G).
Apology not needed. All I write these days is legal opinions.
dr> I am on the internet and have received messages from as far

dr> and did I mention Yukon, Alaska? =:}.
The Yukon is not in Alaska; we're a separate territory which is part of
Canada. However, there is a Yukon in Oklahoma.
dr> By the way, have you ever read any of Rex Burns' mysteries?
dr> I found one in our library and have just started it. A Gabe
dr> Wager mystery. Gabe is a Homicide cop in Denver. This one is
dr> Ground Money, about a mystery with a rodeo setting.
dr> This author has written several mysteries but is a new name
dr> to me. Think I'm going to like it. Will let you know.
It's a new name to me but I may take a look.
Take care,
