Fear not! I have never tried sending an encrypted file over Fidonet. I
have tried sending them as "attached" files associated with Internet
e-mails, which is supposed to work with any kind of file. Sometimes it
does, sometimes not. The files are coded by something like UUENCODE
before transmission, so no CHR$(26)es, etc., are actually sent over the
net. However, the system that does the UUENCODEing does not always, I
suspect, work perfectly.
