How many cleanings does it usually take to sand your heads dwon where you
start to lose quality?
I have used one on one of my less expensive SVHS decks twice already and it
needs a cleaning again and I'm afraid to use the cleaning tape after
hearing it could damage the heads.  
Thanks for the tip on using foam.  I have never opened up these machines
but I assume it is easy enough.  Take care.
