subject: Power Settings

Richard, I hope you don't mind if I change the subject of this message
from "Aeroperu Transcript" to the above "Power Settings" which is what
we are talking about.
RB>If you have maneuvering flaps on the 767 and straight and
RB>level, say 2.0 feet, what or where will the power levers
RB>be? Will they be opposite this screw we are discussing?
RB>Also, what is an average EPR for this realm of flight in
RB>the 767?
I don't know what it would be at 2 ft as you mentioned above but will
try to give you some figures at 5,000 Ft. for the 757.
Approximate Speed Gross Wt. Target Attitude Avg EPR
     173 200,000 7.7 Deg. 1.21
     165 180,000 7.6 1.19
     157 160,000 7.5 1.17
For the 767 here's what it says
Vref 30+40 120,000 6.8 66% N1
    " 110,000 6.6 64%
    " 100,000 6.4 61%
These figures are right out of the book. As I recall the Power Levers
are pretty much standup and in line with the screw. Fuel Flow varies
2,000-3,000 lbs. All the above is maneuvering with 5 Deg. flaps.
