subject: USR UPGRADE my delay

Hello Christopher,   You mentioned you have been waiting since June for
your USR Sportster Voice 33.6 upgrade....is that a 56k upgrade for your
modem
 
I had assumed since I had ordered my upgrade a week before the UPS
strike, that the delay was due to shipping delays.  I intend to call
their service support line Monday and ask what my shipping order number
is - you can track your shipment on the internet on the Federal Express
web site and I think the Post Office and UPS have something like that
too.  I would definately call them, as your order may have been lost or
misplaced, two months is a long time.  Have they charged your credit
card yet?  They should not charge it until they ship it.
 
I ordered my USR 56k upgrade on July 29th, supposedly I will get a
brand new modem with the 56k chip as the old mother board could not
support the new chip and made it buggy.  Unfortunately, the www.usr.com
web site does not have any info on orders you have made with the
company (now owned by 3-Com).
  
I will let you know what they tell me, but I would definately call them
and ask in a nice way: Where the hell is my modem??!!   ;-)
