It's one /hell/ of a lot more than your perception. IBM PSP provides a formal
product specification with their products and GUARANTEES to make the product
conform substantially to the specification in a particular installation, or
your money back. The specification for OS/2 3.0 includes separate sections
for OS/2, MMOS/2 and a few other things.
With Microsoft, the only formal guarantee is a free Gumby doll in every other
pack (see other pack).
