     Now that I am getting real close to change the Protocol(?) by which I
connect my Sony DRU-720A DVD drive to the computer, I have spent some time
going back and reviewing my logs.  As a result, I have blown Ed's
assertion in a cocked hat, in my mind any way.

     Here are some new logs to support the leg I stand on.

     I probably should know why sometimes CDRecord can see the Sony DVD
drive, and sometimes it can only see the Acard, but I don't.
